What a horror show! You will be attacked with wave after wave after wave of surfacy, undeveloped characters that don't do anything. Sure, maybe they are developed in the book, so all the teen girls know them. But they aren't in the movie, and that makes it a horrible adaptation to the big screen. I am talking you meet the family, and they come and go. Then you meet some kids and friends from the next town and another school. Then half the school, and they take off. Then half way through you meet the good vampire family. And then the bad vampires. Where's the story? You leave with the feeling that maybe these 2 dozen people might mean something in a sequel. BUT no story here - it's all an introduction to some story and the joke is on you because you just paid to learn it! If you aren't a 15 year old girl that read the book, don't bother.
