A film from Barry Levinson which purports to be a comedy but one that bites and jabs. Viewing this film in 2016, it seems nothing has changed in our social culture, media and politics. Everything is triply worse. The stinging satire to get its points across is priceless. I've always been very leery of the media and the big political bigwigs, remaining ever alert to this day. Though Dustin Hoffman was nominated as best actor, he literally had no chance of winning with the great Jack Nicholson performance in 'As Good As It Gets'. (1997)
