The narration went into long dry monologues that I found myself drifting off and ignoring, then wondering if I missed something important. Comics are tough to script for the screen. The first one always tries to set up how the superhero came to be and all their significant life incidences in making them super. AS WELL AS get into some action and an entertaining story and movie plot. Finally they throw in the set up for Sequels. This all makes them difficult to watch. Now, if done for Spiderman, think of how much worse it is for Watchmen. Instead of 1 superhero you are following three generations of superheroes. Instead of a superhero most people know, it is the opposite. If you are not a fan of Watchmen comics, this movie is very hard to follow. It's not the x-men.
