Paolo Sorrentino's English language film dealing with old age, friendship, work ethics and so many other emotions inhabiting our world show how beautifully he understands life in all its magnificent glory. The film is almost a poetic meditation on existence that will touch one in any number of ways. The title YOUTH is in itself brilliant. To my mind, two time Oscar Winner Michael Caine has rarely if ever made a bad film. He's simply brilliant. Harvey Keitel does not drag his feet as he does his best film work in years. The rest of the cast is good with Jane Fonda still very much a diva of world cinema.
