This Ernst Lubitsch romantic comedy is not one of his best known. Marlene Dietrich comes off quite well as she was very versatile, but Herbert Marshall is like some alien in a romantic comedy. The light debonaire acting of Melvyn Douglas of 'Ninotchka' fame adds his usual fine chops in an otherwise pretty unknown film.
