    Cimarron

I'm not sure if this is the remake of Cimarron from the 1930's, but it's a western that holds up very well from the hand of Anthony Mann. It never lags in suspense and is authentic a western as you would want. The cast of Glenn Ford, Maria Schell, Anne Baxter, Arthur O'Connell and the great Mercedes McCambridge, Harry Morgan and more are all western alumni and fit so well in their roles. It's what makes the film really stand out!
