Gravity is an above average drama taking place in space orbiting high over the planet Earth with two astronauts working during a dual spacewalk when something goes terribly wrong. This movie received a ton of accolades for production design, sound and editing and a Best Director Oscar for its Director. Although it has stunning visual effects and realistic action sequences, with a superb performance from Sandra Bullock, I just didn't think Gravity deserved all the accolades it received. There were much better movies nominated in the same category that won absolutely nothing and were far more deserving. Gravity is a one time view experience at best. Once you've seen it that's pretty much it. I was expecting more and got less than I bargained for. Not disappointing, just not worthy of all the praise it received.
