    Inception

Christopher Nolan continues to raise the bar each time he makes a film. "The Dark Knight" was truly one of the greatest, darkest films ever made, and he pursues only to improve and get better. To believe that Nolan would to top "The Dark Knight" would be a joke. However, the joke wasn't funny because he just pulled it off in "Inception". Hate me Dark Knight fans while you can, but I personally believed this film had a better screenplay, a more entertaining storyline, much more mouth-dropping images, better direction, and a better idea that sticks with you more than "The Dark Knight's" idea stuck with you. "Inception" was awe-inspiring, brilliant, outstanding, incredible, hugely entertaining, absolutely excellent, unprecedented, and every other word that can describe one of the greatest movies ever made. Simply enough, "Inception" was amazing. It has everything a masterpiece needs. It has an amazing range of characters, which are developed and portrayed to the furthermost extent. It has an amazing screenplay which can be compared to The Social Network's screenplay, however Inception is beyond better. The directing of Chris Nolan was ingenious again. The acting from Leo DiCaprio was the best lead performance of his career, and everyone else nailed it. "The King's Speech" was the only film in 2010 that had absolutely everything in it which made it one of the greatest films of the year, and "Inception" has instantly raised the bar for Chris Nolan because this picture has everything in it as well. The King's Speech, and Inception were the only two films this year that can be compared to have everything a masterpiece needs. Unfortunately for The King's Speech, Inception beats Hooper's masterpiece. Why? What Inception has that The King's Speech doesn't have is a unique story which will stick with you forever. Was DiCaprio dreaming throughout the entire film? Was the movie pretty well a dream? Those an unanswered questions because the theme of the film is dreaming, and thsi film portrays that to the greatest extent. The King's Speech did not have that kind of sticking-with-you sort of feeling that Inception had. Inception had more eye-opening scenes than The King's Speech had, and after walking out of the theatre from watching Nolan's masterpiece, I had a feeling that I've never felt before after watching a movie. I knew it was one of the greatest films I've ever seen, and truly one of the best of all time.
