Interiors is Woody Allen's very serious drama of a looming divorce and its consequences on a grown up family. It is sparse and to the point and almost works like an Ingmar Bergman film. Perhaps it was some sort of homage to the great Swede director, Geraldine Page is remarkable as the wife who just can't comprehend the fact that her marriage is over. Everyone else in the cast seems to express a personal angst about matters present and of the past. A superior film, well written, directed and as stated, brilliant performances.
