Bryan Singer, whose first directorial outing was "The Usual Suspects" a first rate crime thriller directs "Jack the Giant Slayer". With each successive movie he makes they only get better. An entertaining retelling of the children's fairy tale," Jack and the Beanstalk" this Jack is a complete hoot with CGI generated giants who are very effectively rendered. Our hero Jack, the beautiful princess and the dastardly villains make this movie well worth watching. Great storytelling on a grand scale.
