    My Cousin Rachel

    Reviewed by

Richard Burton made his American film debut in his Oscar Nominated performance of My Cousin Rachel from Daphne Du Maurier's best seller. Olivia de Havilland is the enigmatic widow of a deceased, wealthy Englishman. As only Du Maurier does so well, the drama is shrouded in plenty of mystery and suspense with underlying romantic aspects. One does not feel fully satisfied as the tale spins its web, no more so than the mysterious conclusion. What has really happened.
