Pitch Perfect 2

The movie was good and funny. The song they sang was very interesting. The acting is the same, quite familiar with the last movie so nothing new there. The new actress (and Bella) is "ok". She didn't bring much to the movie as per acting skill. Her voice was "Ok". Nothing impressive. I loved fat Amy. Made me laugh quite a lot. The only reason I put a 6, is because the script writers used indecent phrases as discriminatory jokes towards "Korean" and "Indian" One of the MC during a contest said "Who cares about the Koreans" and laugh. Nothing funny in that and close to discriminatory as we do not understand frankly what she meant by "nobody cares" about Koreans. Quite stupid as script. Same thing with the Indians, the other MC said during the last contest "Now there goes the Indians leaving to steal some of our jobs" Nothing funny in that. Dumb script. I didn't laugh and nobody did in the theater. Script writer for this movie needs to be careful. A movie is a movie but there are limits to "sarcastic" jokes. That was close to "discriminatory". They better be careful and hope neither country sue them. Oh well. 6 on 10. I would've given an 8 if they didn't use dumb remarks. Cheers.
