Red Tails

When I first saw the preview for Red Tails, I took a note as a movie I definitely wanted to see. Then, during a 3 months period, the more I saw the preview, the less I actually wanted to see it. I still went last night, thinking there must be a reason I first wanted to see it on the big screen. The plot is barely original, the acting is flat, and the directing reminded me a lot of a cheap 1980's war movie. During all the cheesy speaches there was this music, which to me attracted the attention on the cheesiness of what was being said. I also was disappointed with the action scenes. With a different director, this movie could have been better.
