    The Big Short

Did I enjoy this movie? The answer to that is both yes and no. It's a lively film with a fine cast of actors. However, the subject matter was a little over my head. I am well aware of the financial crunch in banking that hit the states a few years earlier, in which the government had to bail out the banks due to major incompetence, in which all of this is highlighted in the movie. A lot of the jargon, even if explained by Anthony Bourdain, still didn't click with me. For a layman like myself, this is the kind of film that will require repeat viewings in order to understand just what the hell is going on. Unfortunately, I don't have time to watch the same movie over again. So, if you have a degree in commerce or understand the banking world, then this movie is for you. If you're like me and have no clue about high finance, then this movie might try your patience.
