The film's main disappointment is the huge contradiction between the film's anti-corporate messages and the fact that the film is created by one of the biggest corporate giants on the planet. How much do you want to bet that the streets will soon be strewn with garbage of discarded toy Wall-Es? The main character is cute and endearing, but I couldn't get passed the obvious bandwagon jumping of Disney onto the environmental movement - without any realistic portrayal or suggestions. What is this teaching kids? No matter how badly we screw up the environment, everything is fixable by cute little robots? A dangerous message.
