Not your typical teen horror movie, but not a serious horror either (Poltergeist, The shining etc), but rather somewhere in between. The film has alot of Sam Raimi's signature humor and startle/horror elements (Evil dead series) as well as the mildly ironic ending. I thought it was a half decent horror flick. It certainly was much better than all those crappy teen slasher flicks that hollywood has been pumping out lately.
