    Click here to show this review.     Robert Duvall as the estranged father of the main protagonist carries this otherwise rather weak plot-- but, oh, the ending really needed work. But the poker is credible. And Ms Barrymore... Still great but her part is really stretched all out of shape --- on the one hand she is scripted as insightful and feisty and on the other hand she's in bed with her sister's ex on a first date right after he ripped her off.
