Saw II

The movie wasn't bad. It had all the necessary elements to make a good horror movie, and it was a perfect way to end a Halloween night. My complaints are mostly in regards to the acting, of course I find that in most horror movies, the creators are much more concerned with the special effects, the fear factor, and the overall feeling the movie gives you, and they pay less attention to getting adequate acting into the film. I did like how it played on the first film, but still gave enough information so that you didn't have to have seen it prior to watching this sequel. I also liked that they took it to the next level with more main characters, more traps, and more disgusting traps throughout the movie. I do feel, however, that they focussed a little too much on the gore factor, and not enough on the actual story.
