I can see why a lot of people either liked or didn't like it. It's not really a stand alone movie, it kinda requires you to have seen at least a few of the Star wars movies before hand. I personally didn't mind the style of animation it matched well with the feel of the movie. If they had gone with ultra realistic feel it would have to be a very deep film like the Final fantasy animations. It did play like a long TV cartoon episode, which I didn't mind so much, because at least that way you see them in order. It was a nice break to see a film in the Star wars Franchise that wasn't live action to round out the universe so I give it points for that. All in all I would give this film a 6.5 as it wasn't as good as a stand alone film like Wall-e or The Incredibles as there was no drama or tension in the movie because you were familiar with the characters and their respective roles in the Star Wars universe.
