Terminator Salvation

I found it hard to rate this movie it's a 10/10 for CGI, but what isn't now a days when they have a big budget. I got the feeling that throughout the film that I was missing something because I didn't watch the TV series. I have seen all the other terminator films (the first one at least 15 times!) However, I couldn't just warm up to this film at all. WAY to many little subplots that distracted from the main point of the film. They could have made this film way better by just sticking to the action genre and forget about making a seemingly complex movie. Either make a action film or a drama don't combine them please. My biggest beef about the film trying to ignore all the stupid elements of the film. I know it's a movie and I am willing to forgo some "realities" but there is a limit when they just become stupid and absurd (and for me at least it makes films unwatchable) So overall I thought it was a ok movie but not all that great.
