Stu Miley is a cartoonist who has created a hit animated TV show called 'Monkeybone'. Now that he's a success and about to marry the girl of his dreams, he slips into a coma and experiences an incredible fantasy world that takes place in his mind. That's when Monkeybone takes over. Much more than just a cartoon character, Monkeybone is actually Stu's alter ego and is trying to hijack Stu's mind, body and ultimately his life. Trapped between life and death, Stu must somehow find the means to return to reality.
