It's Sylvester Stallone to the rescue when a group of commuters are stranded 72 feet below the Hudson River after an explosion seals off a commuter tunnel. Now the survivors must face fumes, fires and the impending collapse of the tunnel to make it to daylight. Their only hope is Kit Latura (Stallone), a former Emergency Medical Services Chief haunted by his tragic past. Kit must stay one step ahead of each impending disaster to save himself and the others from catastrophe. Amy Brenneman (of TV's "NYPD Blue") costars in this entertaining action adventure chock full of spectacular special effects and good old fashioned thrills.
