Perhaps Ron Howard's best film for which he took home Best Director Oscar as did Jennifer Connelly as Oscar's Best Supporting Actress. The film was voted the Best Film of the year. The genius, arrogance and struggle of Forbes Nash is captured beautifully by Howard who gives us a very illuminating portrait of a Nobel Laureate Academic. Russell Crowe completely captured the persona of Nash giving a brilliant performance, but he lost the Oscar to Denzel Washington for 'Training Day'. I believe Hollywood was not to keen on Crowe's arrogance way back in 2001 and deprived him of a second Oscar.
