A definitive look at the beginnings of TOWER records in 1960 and its rise to become a major player for records/CDs/DVDs on almost every continent in dozens of major cities. In a 6 year gap the conglomorate went from a billion dollar in sales to bankruptcy. It's a fabulous tale of the rise and fall of an Empire. I remember in 2006 being in New York when the several Towers stores closed. I was in utter shock as I had done business there for several years during my time in NYC. It's all a very deep and dark tragedy. I miss those amazing record stores and the many more things that have slowly faded away due to bad business practices or the almighty INTERNET.
