Gina Lollobrigida in one of her last Hollywood major films is totally captivating in Melvin Frank's 'Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell'. Phil Silvers, Peter Lawford and Telly Savalas are the trio of men who make the trip to Italy to see their 'former' lover Carla. Shelley Winters and Lee Grant are engaging as ever. Things get pretty complicated before cooler heads prevail. A pleasant way to spend an evening with an endearing, 'serious' comedy from the 1960's when plots were sane and realistic without vulgarity.
