A lot of back story which for me made this better than the average super hero movie. This time I didn't get sucked in by the lousy 3D at the price hike. Looked fantastic and didn't miss the 3D a bit. Likely the color actually looked better. I believe this was the same director from The Rocketeer. I liked the old school feel to that movie, as I did again this time around. I thought all the acting performances were actually quite good, as thankfully the writing was adequate to facilitate some decent acting. Pretty good action, though maybe they tried a little too hard to squeeze a lot of action into the last half hour. Still, a good time. Better than Iron Man, Thor, X-Men for my money.
