If you're a Tarentino fan, you won't be disappointed. Once again, as Tarantino is apt to do, he's put together a brilliantly directed and very well scripted bit of movie magic. Typical of his usual fare, Django is rich with clever and hilarious dialogue and situations. Jamie Fox is once again top notch, and Christoph Waltz with his latest turn as one of Quentin's leading actors has once again stolen the show, cementing his position as America's favorite German-Austrian movie star with his shifty charm and style as a fearless immigrant bounty hunter. The two characters I've seen him play to date, including his turn as SS-Standartenführer Hans Landa in the 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the BAFTA, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2009. Once again, it's hard to imagine further acclaim not coming his way this time around. Tarantino confirms again and again that he is indeed one of Hollywood's all time most capable movie magic creators, easily number one in my personal books anyways.
