I enjoyed the directing. Some of the cinematography at the beginning particularly was really nice to look at. The fighting and action scenes were enjoyable, especially with the Chemical Bros Soundtrack intensifying the action. However, and this is a big, however, the writing is really quite poor. Too many things that simply weren't thought out or worried about in terms of illogical details. Thing is most of these could have been avoided as it wasn't essential to me that things be realistic (clearly not the aim in this fantasy) but certain trains of logic should be followed and certain actions explained, otherwise you get this. Too long for what it was. Movies over 2 hours should be either brilliantly written or an unbelievable roller coaster ride beginning to end. Hanna wasn't really either. The actors were as good as the script allowed them to be. Not good enough to throw in with some six ratings I've already given, yet better than most of the fives I have in my reviews. (maybe a bit generous to start out)
