What bothered me most was the movie started out asking key questions about the 'creators' and after all is said and done, no answers provided, really. That wouldn't be a big deal in a thriller normally, only the show suggested it may be a bit smarter earlier on, and then failed to deliver on that suggestion. The acting was fine, the dialogue not terrible, but the story honestly was nothing more than typical thriller fair but perhaps a little short on thrills as in my opinion a bit too much time was spent on drama I didn't care a bit about. There was certainly no need for AVX or 3D costs being incurred as, again, much of the movie really didn't make the best use of such technology and it certainly wasn't worth the $17.50 we spent on it. Someone that doesn't go to a lot of movies may have been impressed with the effects, but for me, they were good, but nothing special. At $12.50 I'd have liked it much better, as it stands, it's hard to give this a strong endorsement.
