So far I'm obviously a huge Paul Thomas Anderson fan, as his movies rate very highly with me. Hard Eight was a great movie as well as Boogie Nights (at least a 9) and Magnolia, my personal all time favorite. There Will Be Blood was good as well but didn't grab me the way these others did. Punch Drunk Love is very strange, and not fast moving, so again I warn anyone who didn't like Magnolia to not bother here either. This is Adam Sandler's greatest role of his lifetime, largely because Anderson wrote the script with him in mind. I enjoyed the quirky characters and bizarre romance. The British actress acting opposite him, can't recall her name atm, was also very charming in her own strange way.
