    The Incredible Burt Wonderstone

There are only so many comedies that come out each year that genuinely and repeatedly make me laugh. This was one of them. For one, it's just a great pleasure to see Jim Carrey back at his craziest. He's proven he can act in Eternal Sunshine and has taken various turns being delightful, but only a few can pull off crazy funny like Carrey can and I'm glad to see him where he shines. Buscemi, Carell and Wilde are solid and real characters as silly as The Incredible Burt and Anton magic act is. There's real heart to the story and the message is one of hope and optimism while some of the gags are just a plain riot. Arkin is solid as always, Gandolfini really works in his role too, and Jay Mohr probably set me off the hardest in his little bit in a bar. I can't think of the last laugh out loud comedy with heart I've seen, but be warned when taking my word on comedy, Hall Pass was probably the last time I laughed this hard. So take that for whatever it means.
