This is a very entertaining movie, albeit with a bizarre storyline. I suppose we'll never know if Barris' tale is truth or fiction. Regardless, he certainly lived an interesting life. Clooney does excellent work here, both as director and actor. I didn't care for a couple of stylistic elements, but that's a minor quibble. Barrymore is passable in her role, Roberts is surprisingly good, and Rockwell is simply mesmerizing. Considering how inconceivable the plot is, his performance makes it seem all too real.
