I did not enjoy this picture as much as Moore’s last film Bowling for Columbine. That said Fahrenheit 9/11 still has some important things to say but also a few petty things that detract from his arguements. Overall, this film should raise ones consciousness to at least consider what Moore explores in this movie. With this picture you get a viewpoint that is just not heard in the mainstream media, which is a good thing. I don’t buy the argument that Michael Moore should have been more balanced in his viewpoint, Moore is not a journalist – he is a filmmaker, an artist, and has such is entitled to the artistic license that allows his vision to become a reality. I recommend that you see this movie and decide for yourself what is real or not so real about Moore’s viewpoint.
