Gamer

Dont really know what to make of this movie. It's got some good points, some bad points, and some things I just dont know what to make of. For starters, Gerard Butler is really showing off as an incredibly versatile actor. I mean how many actors can pull off, comedy, romantic comedies, drama and action all convincingly? Not many. Yet here he shows off once again as a GAMER. He's the real deal as far as acting goes. Also noticeable is the eccentric performance of Mr Dexter. He certainly did a good job though realy passed as a lunatic more than anything else. As far as the movie goes, I can tel the director had a very very matrix meets halo kind of a picture with a really really "wacked" cinematography. The movie holds water though I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. If you are an avid gamer you certainly would enjoy the halo-style and all the gory scenes (there are many) All in all, I think the movie missed the spot. It was heading for something that could have made interesting but went too far on the eccentric end and in doing so marginalized its audience.
