With greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes, Rutger Hauer turns in the most memorable portrayal of a vagrant since Chaplin's Little Tramp. Since I returned to going to the cinema 5 years ago, this film is the first one I've seen to have the rare "R" rating. Half the budget must have been spent on fake blood- but the violence is so over-the-top, it is less realistic than a video game. But one older fellow had to leave the theatre half-way through. This movie gets 2 dismembered thumbs up from me. It is much better than similarly-styled Deathproof, Planet Terror and Machete.
