I was expecting I, Frankenstein to be horrible. I got into a free advance screening and I went with my friend. I can honestly say that this "movie" is one of the most unnecessarily funny movies I've ever seen. It was absolutely HORRIBLE, but it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. The special effects and CGI were actually decent at some points, with some scenes actually being impressive. However, at some points the effects were absolutely horrible and quite laughable. There were a few good fight scenes, but the rest were slow motion, CGI-filled bull-crap. The absolute worst and funniest part of this movie was the dialogue. Oh. My. God. This is some of the cheesiest, stupidest and utter worst dialogue I've ever heard. I can't really process how somebody actually thought that this was a good script. Wow. My friend and I were actually laughing extremely hard at some of the lines and most of the audience was doing the same. The acting in this movie was mostly horrendous. Aaron Eckhart did a stale and boring performance as 'Adam', and Bill Nighy was just fine as the bad guy. The entire supporting cast, however, were so terrible that it was funny. I'm not even going to mention the guy who played the giant bodyguard. OVERALL: I, Frankenstein is definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Period. However, it is worth seeing for a good laugh and if you're totally hammered. RATING: 1/10.
