It's very rare I give a movie a "10" but this one deserves it hands down. Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush were fantastic in it as were all the back up characters. It opened my eyes to a kind and gentle king that had the country's best interest at heart. It was wonderful to watch the Queen Mother eat candies and begin to grow plump. I wonder what the modern day therapists would have to say about that! Lol The cruelty that this family had to endure is amazing and again I'm simply grateful for the history lesson. It's sad that more of this was and is not taught in our Canadian school systems today.
