500 Days of Summer (2009) Rating: 4 / 5 " (500) Days of Summer" is an incredibly entertaining insight on the delusions we create for ourselves once we enter a relationship. Its characters are realistic and the film is honest in a way that’s very refreshing. It never compromises to give us the movie we want instead of the movie we need to see. It's very funny and charming and will likely be enough to wake you up from the fantasy you've been living if you are in the same type of relationship that Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) finds himself in or give you some real insight on why your relationship with that "true love that got away" ended the way it did. I liked it a lot and would like to see it again. (On Dvd, September 2, 2012)
