Miranda Otto (of J. R. R. Tolkien fame as Eowyn the shieldmaiden slayer of the Witch-King- leader of the Nazgul) is radiant. Rhys Ifans steals the show as a quirky adventurous but loving and sensitive construction worker in Sydney Australia. He is in an unhappy relationship, so to spice up his dull couples life in the 'burbs, he often likes to try stunts ie. Being a human slingshot. After an almost disastrous stunt involving a 'deck chair', he ends up in a Northern Rivers town where he is welcomed and he starts to reinvent himself and discover hidden talents and the power of being himself. After the townsfolk start to see his potential, he does too. Danny (Rhys) finds true love along the way. What can I say, it is a true feel good movie. Australian films have a charm all their own. A complete and utter must see, in my opinion.
