Wow! This movie totally bummed me out. I was expecting some kind of inspirational touching movie with incredible performances... and I got a few cute chuckles, a lot of long-winded scenes, and a movie that felt like it lasted well over 3 and a half hours. I did not read the book, and all I saw was the one trailer. I just expected so much more with all the hype from the bestselling book and it being billed as a sort of Julia Roberts comeback movie. 4/10, not good, because had I not paid, I still would have found it long and overly drawn out. I do understand it's based on a memoir, but it's interesting that such a successful and bestselling book did not lead to a box office success starring Julia Roberts. I know I definitely am not the target audience, but I happen to love touching and heart-warming movies. Go figure!
