After reflection I feel sad that instead of showing us and the worlds kids the wonderful mysterious place full of wonders that are the worlds oceans, we spent most of the movie with Dory inside a cement building or a fish tank or going through drain pipes. As well, I realized I missed the way Dory was the happy go lucky character to offset Merlin's doomsday gloominess. It somehow all felt so wrong, disjointed and depressing. To be fair we've all been inside cement buildings most of our lives, so nothing new there. What a waste of Ellen's prodigious comedic talent. I mean most of the movie she was afraid or sad or trying to remember. And it's okay to feel all those things but Ellen is a comedian, but you would not think so after watching this movie. I would heartily recommend to skip this and re-watch Finding Nemo instead.
