If you liked the first one, then by all means go and see this one. Del Toro does it again, creating a visually stunning fantasy world for less than 100 Million. It can be done. This movie is the proof! HellBoy is such a larger than life and likeable hero, and the script for this one was written just right: open with a quickie recap, then set the scene for the new story, and let the good times roll! Ron Pearlman plays his role to perfection. It's a great comic book adaptation, and it clocks in at just under 2 hours (perfect duration) Well paced for the genre, mucho kudos to del Toro! Hopefully, there will be a part 3 in the not so distant future (as long as del Toro writes and directs again, as he is becoming a master of the genre)! Great movie, don't miss it (if you like such movies and are a fan of the first one)
