There a lot of messages in this movie about the kind or unkind type of fabricated world we live in. How we're all meant to 'dance' to the same tune. Does it really take someone to come in with a bomb for the crook to admit he committed fraud? Apparently so. Does it really help to have everyone and their 'uncle' armed to the gills? Apparently not. I asked myself these questions, because I was not counting the # of funny moments or the edge of my seat moments the movie contained. I was too engrossed by the tragedy of it all. So yeah, "spoiler alert", this story is not meant to be funny, although some people did laugh. The end result though is that Jodie Foster did great job, kudos to her.
