I cannot give this movie more than 5/10. I just can't. I really expected more out of this movie than repeated attempts at no-brain laughs. I just did not get the humor, other than a few good jokes here and there. I really did like seeing James Franco play such a different role than his usual ones. Seth Rogen, well, he pretty much played the same part he always does. I hope he makes as much money as he can while he's hot (and is wise with his earnings), because his career won't be very long if he doesn't break out of his very limited mold. I've seen dumb comedies, I adore Harold and Kumar, and SuperBad, but Pineapple Express was a let down in my book.
