    Willow

This is not an outstanding masterpiece by any means, even by 1988 standards it really felt sub par. The effects and the script at times seems strained and creatively low budget. However I was 18 at the time and Val Kilmer looked amazing! The on screen chemistry with Joanne Whalley ( later to become his wife) is palpable and hilarious. The little Elora baby (or babies as I believe twins were cast) was absolutely captivating with just the perfect little facial expressions at the right time (so, some great editing there too) Overall an enjoyable imaginary world with some really great moments. For nostalgic reasons I cannot give it less than a 7. Recommend.
