Finally saw David Lynch's first feature film from way back in 1977 when Messer Lynch still had dark hair. This cult film, as it has come to be known, took Lynch some five years to complete so consumed was he with the project. What I tend to love best is the incredible B + W photography with star Jack Nance in an eccentric performance. You cannot but think of Kafka during parts of this visionary film.
