A Good Day to Die Hard

Die Hard is considered pound for pound the best and most influential action movie ever made. Although each subsequent sequel failed to match the intensity of the original, each could stand on its own, the 4 films forging the best action franchise of all time. However, this latest entry A Good Day To Die Hard, is unworthy of the good name it carries. It has no discernible plot, awful dialogue and zero chemistry between actors supposedly playing father and son. There is no flamboyant villain, no hard to kill henchmen and seemingly no earthly idea on the part of the screenwriters as to how to make a DIE Hard movie. If not for Bruce Willis' effortless tough guy charm and a jaw dropping car chase through downtown Moscow this movie would be without any redeeming quality. And as a hardcore Die Hard fan my whole life, I'm being kind.
