Argo

This movie is American Propoganda in its fullest expression. It seemed more like a movie meant to paint Ben Afflek as a great American hero than it is about telling the truth. He has re-written the story completely undermining Canada's contribution. The first showing of the film in Toronto at TIFF offended people so badly that he had to take out text at the end which said Ambassador Ken Taylor did not deserve the American medal awarded him. In fact, the criticisms led to the the postscript of the film being altered to declare that the escape was possible due to the work of the CIA complemented by efforts of the Canadian embassy. This was essentially the only credit given Canada in the movie. Bullshit. Had I known this I would have boycotted it.
