On the wake of the loss of their mother, a family makes a regular effort to come together and the only thing standing in their way is themselves. Seven years after their mother's death a family continues going through the motions of their tradition of family, friends, turkey, and resentment. One member of the family decided not to participate, but this year he's driving across country to see everyone, only he hasn't made up his mind yet.
