Battleship

I am really sort of stuck on a rating of 6.5 and have to change it to a 6 or 7. So, giving it a 6 because of a few things. Like the credits listing the movie as Based on the Hasbro Game. It isn't based on it, there are no aliens in the game. It is clearly only "Inspired" by the game. Movie jargon I'd expect movie people to get right. Maybe that is a small point. But Rihanna really is the downfall. She is not an actress and can't act. But she is thrown into every possible scene even to the point of making the writers look stupid. Glaringly says LOOK, she can't act, we can't write, but you might pay to see her!!! Well good when movies like this flop and the critics say she can't act, so maybe she will stick to singing.
